Mihrimah Sultan Mosque in Üsküdar

Although the truth is not certain, The mathematical genius Sinan also kept a secret in the mosques located in the two complexes he built for Mihrimah. As a dedication to Mihrimah Sultan's name meaning Sun and Moon, only a few days of the year (in April and May) the sun sets from the back of one mosque and the moon rises from the other mosque.
